In short:

1. New and changed calendar items from Exchange sync to Centro just fine.
2. New calendar items from Centro sync to Exchange just fine.
3. Changed calendar items from Centro revert back when sync’ed with Exchange (in other words, Exchange wins or overrides Centro).

This restricts the Centro user to only adding new calendar items on the Centro.  When she wishes to delete or change a calendar item, she must do it from her computer, since any calendar item deleted or changed on the Centro reverts back at the next EAS (Exchange ActiveSync).  No HotSyncs are being done at all--this is purely through her Sprint data plan.

Any hope?

Have you removed and reset up the EAS account on the device? Also in some cases this is the way IT setup the EAS and cannot be over road. Have you checked with your IT about this case?
