Audio books

I love my Pre, but can't upload audio books (WMA) from my library to it.  Anyone know if this will happen in the future or if there are any ways to convert the files?

Re: Audio books

.wma is a Micro$oft audio format.  I'm guessing HPalm doesn't have any plans to pay them for the licen$ing right$ to play $uch file$...  :smileywink:

Re: Audio books

You can try to see if you can convert the audio format.  He's a google link for "change audio format".

No guarantee you will get anywhere.

Re: Audio books

I'm also having problems with uploading audio books. I thought it was because I need to convert the files. I tried converting it but I still can't use those audio books. I'm looking for another converter. I hope I could find the solution in this forum.

According to this guy: http://forums.precentral.net/palm-pre-pre-plus/275625-help-loading-music-wma-pre.html#post2867751  he found that this converter program did the trick for him: http://www.wma-mp3.org/

Re: Audio books

You can use online converters of local (installed on your PC) software. I will not post any link in order not to attract any infraction but search on google " wma - mp3" converter.
