I created a playlist in WMP 11 and sync'd it with my Pixi Plus. I also saved the playlist as a M3U file in the Music folder of my Pixi Plus, but when I try to open the playlist in the music section of the phone, it say's 'no items available'.
How do I create a playlist for my Pixi Plus using WMP 11? Any suggestions?

Just to be sure, are the music files in the .mp3 format and not the default .wma that WMP uses?
wma is not a compatible format.

Yes, they are all mp3 format. I created the playlist using WMP 11, and sync'd it to the Pixi, but when I disconnect, go to my music library, scroll down and select the playlists icon, it says 'no items available'.
So, it isn't putting the playlist in the proper place, I suppose.

From the Pixi Plus support page:
Note Playlists that you set up on Windows Media Player do not appear as playlists on your device. However, all of your playlist music is moved to the Songs category within the Music app.

I just bought a Palm Pixi Plus and I noticed that in the music library, the music you download are automatically organized in the usual categories of genre, song, artist, etc., but if you scroll down to the bottom, there is also an icon for 'Playlists'.
Has anyone actually created a playlist and been able to save it in this category? What software is easy to use and will actually do this, instead of saving the playlist in some other category, like 'songs'?
Thanks.

Click on the Library tab at the top of the screen (if not already selected) to bring up the library menu screen. Click on the Create Playlist option (under playlists menu) in the left pane - you may need to click on the + icon to open this menu if this isn't visible. The next step shows you how to populate your new playlist with tracks from your music library. Drag and drop tracks from your music library to the newly created playlist displayed in the left pane. Again, you may need to click on the + icon next to the library menu item to see the sub-optionsOnce you have a populated playlist, you can use it to playback the music tracks from your music library, burn a CD, or sync to a media/MP3 player - use the top menu tabs (Burn, Sync, etc.)and drag your playlist over to the right pane to burn, or sync your playlist.

And you have used this method and the new playlists are actually populated in the 'Playlists' category of the music library in the phone, not in some other category?
