I just bought palm pre 2 and when I try to add a picture to one on my contacts it seems to just be a super zoomed in portion of the photo..whats wrong? how can i fix it?

Never done this, but a thought ....
Sync the picture to your computer. Use a graphic program (gimp, photoshop, etc) to zooom as desired. Sync the picture
back to the cellphone.
Think this would work?

I just use my gmail account to house/attach the photos. The pre syncs to it and I have no zoom problems like this.
