Saving a voice file from a text on my pixi

My husband sent me a voice recording via text and I want to know how I can save it to my phone? I want to possibly use it for a text tone too. Is that possible?

Re: Saving a voice file from a text on my pixi

You need to connect your phone and enable USB drive mode. Locate and open the attachments folder then look for the MMS folder and search the filename of that attachment. You can then copy that file to your music folder and you can set it as a text tone or ringtone. By the way, what is the file type of that file? is it an MP3 file? if not, it's not going to work with the Pixi.

i maybe logging in this forum between 9am-6pm EST, mondays thru fridays. i will respond or reply on any postings that i have knowledge of. i may respond to some PM's but it will depend on the message sent so most likely i will not reply on those messages. thanks.

Do you do it this way for a Palm Pre+? I've been wondering how this is done ever since I've had my Palm! And that's been for almost a year now! LOL!
