Re: transfering video

Happy day...thanks for checking back in.

I'm getting ready for a road trip next week (8 hours each way and for once, I'm actually a passenger) and I'm getting my videos all loaded up... the full Fawlty Towers series, and I'm thinking maybe some of the early 007 films...Goldfinger, Thunderball, etc.

Re: Watching DVDs and other video content on your Palm handheld

I had a moment (actually several) and broke down and bought a TX............ and  I think I'll keep my Zire72-- put up the IIC for auction on E_bay... still hate to part with it..

Anyway, might be checking back when new unit arrives for similar help.

Have fun on trip

Hello all,

I have been trying to get my DVD's resised to fit on my sd card and have been unsucessful getting them to fit.  I have been using DVD shrink for now.  I was wondering if any of you knew of another freewear option that will resize them?

Re: Watching DVDs and other video content on your Palm handheld

You transfer them to your Palm via HotSync.  This is part of Palm Desktop, both on your installation disk.

There is also a User Manual on the Installation Disk.  Sounds like you have some reading to do!   :smileywink:

Because Palm Desktop/Quick Install can't rip a DVD...

You Tube on your Treo 755p will require Kinoma Player 4 EX.

As for other video content (i.e. movies, DVD, etc.) I suggest you read back through this thread where there is a lot of information discussed about numerous video applications.

Good luck.
