Re: Bluetooth Related Issues with Car kits regarding webOS post 1.4.0.

Make/Model:  Volvo S40
Year: 2009
Carkit Model info (Manufacturer, firmware version, etc):  OEM
Details of problem:  The contacts will not automatically sync.  I have to go into the car's bluetooth menu and select "copy contacts from phone" every time the car is turned on.  This used to not be an issue prior to the 1.3.5 update.

webOS version: 1.4
Included in compatibility list: yes

This problem began with 1.3.5 and was not resolved with 1.4

Re: Bluetooth Related Issues with Car kits regarding webOS post 1.4.0.

Have you removed all pairing both from the device and from the carkit and re-established a new pairing since upgrading to 1.4.0.

If not can you please do those steps and let us know if you are still having the issue.

Re: Bluetooth Related Issues with Car kits regarding webOS post 1.4.0.

Make/Model: BMW 545i
Year: 2004
Carkit Model info (Manufacturer, firmware version, etc): OEM
Details of problem: Initially seems to pair just fine, then seems to drop off and on
webOS version: 1.4
Included in compatibility list: No, but worked great since I got the Palm Pre in June 2009 until I upgraded to 1.4.

I have deleted all pairing and re-paired 3 times with the same result each time.

Make/Model: BMW 5-series
Year: 2007
Carkit Model info (Manufacturer, firmware version, etc): OEM
Details of problem: (e.g. pairing drops, static on the line, buttons mapped incorrectly, etc)

As of 1.3.5.1, everything worked perfectly.  Prior to that, I could pair and use the car's speakers and mic, but the address book functions did not work.  As of v1.4.0, nothing works.

webOS version: v1.4
Included in compatibility list: No, but the 2009 5-Series is, and they are almost identical.

Make/Model: BMW 325i
Year: 2006
Carkit Model info: OEM
Details of problem: Was working fine before 1.4 update. Connection is inconsistent. When it is live, connection info/status never shows on car display (screen is as if no phone connected). Bluetooth drops mid-calls. Phone screen turns on periodically as if it just reconnected bluetooth. I did re-pair, both deleting the device on the Pre and the car.
webOS version: 1.4

It connected and paired up fine before the update to webOS 1.4.0, had no issues with 1.3.5.1. The phonebook functionality also worked fine with the previous version of WebOS
