When I hotsync the connection bar shows up on both my Treo 650 and on the PC; both report "successful sync". But the information is not flowing between the two. I've tried a test Contact and test Calendar event going from Treo to PC and then PC to Treo and neither direction works despite the "successful sync" report. What tweaking do I need to do for a fix?
Windows 7 Outlook
Treo 650 Sprint
Bluetooth sync

Which version of Palm Desktop?
Have you checked to see if the info is in Palm Desktop and not Outlook?
Can you throw the "soft switch" to change the direction to Outlook?:
Start Button/All Programs/Palm/PIM Conduit Sync/Sync with Outlook.
Now try another HotSync and see if the data populates in Outlook.

I have an old Palm Treo 650. I have not been able to sync it with my desktop since 2008 when my old computer died. The instllation disk has not worked for the last two computers. I now have a pretty new desktop that uses Windows 7. I would really like to be able to sync my 650 since I will loose all contacts added to it since 2008 if I drop the device and damage it. I have tried to install the Treo software on my new computer but the Treo device (my PDA/phone) is not recognized by my desktop. Does anyone have any suggestions.

I suggest you head over to the Windows hotsync section of this Forum, where you'll find your question has been asked and answered many times.
