I have a Tungsten E2, and I can not connect to the internet. I have wireless internet in my home, and can not get the interne on my handheld.

Have you purchased a Palm Wifi card for your E2? I'm assuming your home network is Wifi, and without the card you will have to use the E2's Bluetooth radio to make a connection. (Palm no longer sells the card, so you'll have to search eBay for one). If you have a computer that also has BT, you can connect to it with a program called Softick PPP from softick.com. WyreNut

I have done just that. I have a Palm Wifi card in the E2, and connect to my home router. My connection to good. I am beginning to think though, that I should experiment with a different browser. I am currently using Minuet.

Why not use Blazer that came with the device? I tried Minuet but found it to be lacking...

I also need help, I dont want to buy any cards or anything for my Palm Tungsten E2, and I tried connecting it to my bluetooth phone, and it wont give me internet on my palm! Plz help! I need internet now! Thank yoU!

There are several reasons why it won't connect:

1. The Bluetooth drivers your device is using are many years old, and thus the E2 has no idea how to talk to the phone.

2. Your cell provider may block access by an outside device unless you have a tethering plan added to your account.

3. Your provider is Verizon. They were infamous for blocking BT access to their phones by anything other than a BT earpiece.

Yea well do I have to get a USB PC Bluetooth Adapter? When I try to open internet on my PALM Tungsten E2, It says I don't have the right Proxy!?!?! PLZ TELL ME WHAT THE PROXY IS?!?! And thx so much for your help! Im just sooooooooooooooooooooooooo close to getting internet on my Palm!!!!!!!

You are trying to connect to your phone, why would you need a USB adapter?
