Hope someone can help. My Palm Treo Pro with firware version1.65.28.25 and running Windows Mobile 6.5 and all appears to work. Both of my wireless networks at home are recognised and it says they are connected when I try. My problem is that when I bring up an internet page through internet explorer it does not go to the page and gives me an error message that says"Cannot find server or DNS Error"
I have a number of other devices connected to my home networks and they are all fine, including another PDA. When I check my Routers home page the Palm Treo Pro is listed along with the other successful connections. I have even taken the Palm to a friends house and tried it on her unsecured network but I have the same problem. I have changed numerous settings on my router home page to no avail, I have tried assigning specific IP addresses , subnet mask & default gateway- no change and I have done both a soft and hard reset. I am with Telstra Network in Australia and the phone will connect to the internet if I go throught their 3G network.
