Unable to initiate HotSync operation...

When attempting to HotSync my Treo755P with my Mac (OS10.4.x) using bluetooth, I receive the following message:  Unable to initiate HotSync operation because port is in use by another application".  After flashing this message for a few seconds, the Palm OS resets.  I have tried soft resets, hard resets, and looked for updated bluetooth drivers.  Is there a fix for this one?  HotSyncs via USB cable seems to work just fine.

Saw in another post:

 

On desktop open Hotsync,

goto connection settings,

disable and re-enable bluetooth,

verify serial is pointed to correct com port (set in bluetooth settings)

 

and it works again!

 

Worked for me on win7, hope it helps.
