Windows 7 64bit sync with palm tx using bluetooth

I am trying to hotsync my old palm tx to my new windows 7 64bit combuter. I have installed the palm software and HP bluetooth USB adapter. The palm tx bluetooth tries to send but the computer does not recognize it. I am not even sure of the command to have the palm tx hotsync using blue tooth. Is it automatic once the bluetooth is linked?

Re: Windows 7 64bit sync with palm tx using bluetooth

Do you absolutely want to use the slower BlueTooth connection, or would you rather use the USB cable as designed?

Drivers are available now for 64bit systems.  See the top of the Windows HotSync board for "64 bit Palm Desktop drivers are here!"

I would prefer the USB connection. I will try the new drivers. Thanks for your help. Hopefully I will not need any additional help. I know just enough about computers to be dangerous

Re: Windows 7 64bit sync with palm tx using bluetooth

i have similar problem

my Palm TX is seen by my new win 7 home premium 64 bit computer

I have Hot syn mgr 7.02 and Palm 6.2.2 on my new computer

when I run hot sync it chokes at step 4 the datebook and can only be stopped by ending the task.

Downloaded Aceeca and installed it, tried with usb connection--same result

I can still sync to my old xp computer no problem

What am I doing wrong.
