How about a Silicon Valley Meetup?

Hey folks!

   I was wondering if anyone in the vicinity of Palm HQ would be interested in having a meetup?  There are a couple of meetup groups, but they all seem to have been hijacked by some corporate shill.  (e.g. http://www.meetup.com/svpalmpre/ )

I think that we can still try to organize meetups on this site, and if he stops us, we let meetup know he's officially hijacked the group for the worse. (Right now it's a bit vague, but clearly, he has no interest in planning a meetup since he hasn't done one for the last year, since he's been the "organizer.")

If there's anyone out there that's interested in a meetup, let's plan one.  Hit me up!

I was chatting with Wyrenut about this during the PalmCast, and he was interested, told me to hit him up, but i don't see a facility for PM'ing him on here, so this seems like the best method anyways. Look forward to hearin from ya'll!

 

PS: Yes I did try to contact this "Toby Morning" about organizing a meetup, and he has not responded to that message, nor any other posts i have made within these palm/webOS groups.
