Palm Help Forum Reference Links - Manuals, How-To's, and other FAQ's

[ Edited ]
This is a partial listing of links to Updates, User Manuals for webOS and Palm devices, and commonly asked-for instructional links. I will be adding to it as new ones become available, and encourage suggestions (via PM) for additions to the list.

"HOW TO'S"

How to Upgrade from a Previous Palm device to a Newer One: http://kb.hpwebos.com/ and enter 12926 (General Upgrade guide) or 45175 (Upgrade to Centro) into the "solution ID:" box (lower right).
How to Perform a "Hard Reset": http://kb.hpwebos.com  enter 887 into the "solution ID" box (lower right)
How to Hard Reset a Centro: http://kb.hpwebos.com  and enter 45050 into the "solution ID" box (lower right)

This will be a work in progress; hopefully it will help our new users! :smileyhappy:

Re: Palm Help Forum Reference Links - Manuals, How-To's, and other FAQ's

Other things to note:

  • If you've not looked there, a lot of times the answer to your question might be in the User Guide.
  • If you like someone's post, please do use the forum's Kudos feature: This not only gives that person a virtual "thumbs up" but also directs other customers to the more popular postings/posters. (What are Kudos?)
  • Feedback here is always welcome, however we ask that all product feedback be directed to the Feedback and Feature request page.
  • Feel free to send me a Private Message (PM)... however questions that would benefit other customers will not be answered: those should be posted on the appropriate Community board. Thank you.
  • Myself and pretty much everyone else here you see with a Palm logo work for Customer Support. We are not engineers we simply pass along info to them when applicable. We also can't give details on things like
    • When's the next webOS update?
    • When will MY problem be fixed
    • ANY un-announced software/hardware
  • Thank You.
