Please Find, Repair, and Return my TX

[ Edited ]

When I called for my third repair request last Jan. 26, 2009 (for power switch problem), the gentleman on the phone told me to send my device (Palm TX) "immediately" because it only had 4 more days of warranty left.

I asked him, however, "Shouldn't I wait until I get email from you, the copy of which I should wrap around my device to send together with?" But he gave me the 'Service Repair Order # S1-51533425118' over the phone and insisted that I should write it on a paper along with a brief note of the nature of the problem of my device, and send it right away.

When I asked him whether he is sure about his suggestion, he was positive. So after hanging up the phone, I "immediately" took my device to the nearest UPS store and shipped it to the same shipping address I had used in my two previous repair shippings, which was 5201 ALLIANCE GATEWAY FWY, FORT WORTH, TX 76177.

The following day, I received an email from 'nobody@innovate-it.com' the 'Palm Service Repair Order'. And on Jan. 29, 2009 the UPS also sent me an email reporting that my device had been safely delivered as follows:

Delivery Date / Time: 29-January-2009 / 3:29 pm

Delivery Location: FRONT DESK

Signed by: BROWN

Ship To:

Palm: PRIC S1-51533425118

5201 ALLIANCE GATEWAY FWY

FORT WORTH, TX 76177, US

However, my status page on your website still shows my device hasn't arrived at your place. I have already called and talked with 3 different gentlemen, all of whom were very apologetic and courteous, and promised that after 48 hours I should receive an answer either by phone or email. Well, they did not follow through their promises. By this time, I was a bit steaming! I had to raise my voice during my inquiry with the last gentleman on the phone.

Fortunately, as I was looking for a direct contact avenue thru your company I just happened upon this 'Forum'. And here I am letting you (whoever the responsible reader may be) know of my frustrations and pleading that somebody please find, repair, and return my TX ASAP. For last two and a half weeks, my work and I have been missing my TX very much.

By the way, my service request number is 1-51469713591.

Thanks, Palm....

Thanks Palm ^^... Finally, the replacement device arrived this afternoon (2/13/09, 3pm). It is now placed in a cradle and being fed of battery juice, and the TX looks quite happy :smileyhappy: Thanks for promptly responding to my 'complaint' and resolving it in timely manner. God bless.. ^^

Your post is off-topic in this two year-old thread. You need to search the internet for a replacement disc. They are not available here. Palm Desktop, however, is available. Check the response Wyrenut made in your other thread.
