Been a webOS user since the Palm Pre (Sprint) like the few of us out there. Had a couple suggestions for the business from a consumer point of view. Appreciate the Touchpad and love webOS 3.0, but still missing key things that should have been launch ready.
List of suggestions
-Document Editing at LAUNCH (Can't see why touchpad is being advertise as a business yet entertainment tablet when a basic docement editor has yet to be released for it)
-More competitive HARDWARE (Great specs, but just on par of whats being released by other company's right now)
-The devolper support is huge, which i love. BUT needed are also some big names like Netflix, Shazaam, Citrix, etc. Angry Birds can only hold off for so long
-BETTER product placement and edcation in retail. i went to 3 best buys around where i lived. ALL touchpads had no charge and no functionality. (Using the wrong charger) and the employees didnt know anything about the product and try to convince me to buy and iPad. If they is any way to work for HP in product knowledge around my area. Sign me up, I'd be happy to show the strengths of webOS.
-Release the phones that work with Touchpad at the same time. NOT months later. CAN'T advertise Touch To Share. when the other device NEEDED isnt even available yet.
-DIFFERENT FORM FACTORS for devices. not everyone likes the same things. (Physical keyboard, virtual keyboard, Big Screen, small screen, glossy, matte, etc)
-MICRO SD CARD SUPPORT
-Make phones available to as MANY carriers as possible. i know its probably some complicated matter between both parties, but leaving people who supported the first gen Pre and is still using them. I Believe a majority of webOS users are on Sprint. And yet to release another phone since then is sad. Leaving a good chunk of webOS users on Sprint using the next upgrade for handheld, which is coming up or already past, to go to a different phone OS altogether (Android or Windows Phone 7)
Those are my suggestions from a loyal webOS user. Don't even know if anyone working at HP will read this. But I feel it is my part as a HP/ Palm comsumer to express the concerns I have with the movement of WebOS and its future devices.

I sure do agree about the retail comment you made. I went to two Best Buys and at each BB they had two TouchPads on display. At one BB both TouchPads were dead. I plugged them back in, but of course the battery was dead and it would take some time to charge before they would boot. The other BB had one dead TouchPad. Doesn't BB assign people to monitor certain areas and make sure everything is working as it should?!
Actually, there is a way to work in support of HP and its webOS devices. It's possible there are positions in your area. See here: http://www.webosroundup.com/2011/08/wanna-get-paid
