Flash Files

I want to transfer flash files from my PC and view them on my Touchpad without converting them to a video file. Is this possible?

Re: Flash Files

I don't think that will work since Flash isn't an app you can start on your own.  You can certainly copy all the Flash files you want to your TP, but I don't think you'll have a way to play them.

Re: Flash Files

I've copied one to my TP but I can't seem to find it anywhere. My thought is if I can find it in a directory somewhere I'll be able to drag and drop it into a web screen and it will auto play.

Re: Flash Files

Flash on the TouchPad is not an independant application. It is merely a plug-in for the web browser. This is why there is no way to open the flash files that you've copied to your TouchPad.

If you have Preware, you can install a Browser patch that allows you to use the file:/// url handler. This will let you type in the exact path of the flash file into your web browser address bar and might work.

As an example, after installing the patch you would open the web browser and enter file:///media/internal/myflashfile.flv
