HP TouchPad Software/Hardware

Hi.

Before the last update I was on 3.0.4 version of the webOS and my HP TouchPad would appear as a USB drive on my mac (running OSX Lion).  But since the 3.0.5 update when I plug in the TouchPad and select to mount it as a USB drive it complains that it is not recognised and gives me the option to "Initialise ..."

What is going on?

Did you try any resets using device info, reset options? Try a restart and see if that may help.

Try again after the TP data is restored. If it still gives the same error, call the UK support line and ask for MAC assistance. You have free tech support for the first 90 days after purchase.

It seems to me that 10.7.3 update, or something that was updated in the past two months is causing this issue.  It's an osx issue, as I know for certain my unit will mount on an older version of the os, but not on my recently updated Lion.

It used to work on Lion, but no more.  Preware will load however - but the device will not mount.
