Hi,
I am trying to access HP exhcnage server from the touch pad. I have tried setting up exchange server, creating email account using imap and have no luck yet. I saw a post mentioning a EAS application but can't find it on the device. I would appreciate any input on how to do so.
Thanks,
Peng

Unless HP has some additional security, I don't see why it would be different from any other exchange account. Here's how I hooked up mine: log into your email account via the web. copy the first portion of the URL from the address bar (ex: https://webmail.hp.com)
if that doesn't work you'll need to get your url from IT.

If there are any security certificate issues like I had with my EAS account, I had to first log in via the browser at my company's EAS url (similar format to https://webmail.hp.com) and always accept the certificate. Then I was able to setup my EAS info via the email app without any issue.
Thought I'd share in case anyone has an EAS issue

There is a way to support this. But I would recomend going to the internal GETIT forums for the instructions. It is not what was described in the earlier posts.

Go to Get IT Forum not a public Internet forum. However, IMAP is no longer Supported. Look up HP MMS.

Setting up your exchange account on the TP is the exact same as any other mobile device. You can find the instructions on GETIT or send me a pm and I'll give you the details.

Hi,
I would appreciate very much if I can get the details on setting up the exchange server access. What is "pm"?
Thanks,
Peng

pm = Private Message. We have a way here to send private messages from user to user. Look at the top right corner of the screen for a tiny icon that looks like an envelope (under the "Search" button).

Closing thread. HP internal information should be discussed internally. Further information about setting up exchange services on webOS devices can be found through the Get IT portal.
