It seemed to be an on-again off-again fit but my touchpad will not load certain websites and it's been this way for a while now. For instance: I visit the Amazon.com site daily and while the main page and many searches will load, others like the Gold Box offers will not.
Of course it's so wide spread that most web searches are fruitless since I can't visit the sites. Is this a known problem? Any solutions?

I had that same problem with webOS 3.0.0 and a little with 3.0.2 on my TouchPad. But since going to 3.0.4 the problem has not resurfaced that I can remember. Also, overclocking my TP seems to have massively helped loading web pages.
Also, it could be that DNS is timing out for your TP. I have no idea why that could be. But maybe you could consider manually inputting OpenDNS.org's servers into your router's config? I know that helped me a lot when I had my Pre.

I appreciate the input but I have no idea what overclocking is. My OS is version 3.0.4 and if configuring my DNS is area specific then I doubt it'll work since this problem persists no matter who's internet I use (like my friend's 2 miles away).

Don't worry about overclocking then if you don't know what it is. OK, at least you are running 3.0.4, that's the latest version. Do you have any ad-block software installed on the TouchPad or any Preware customizations?

To my knowledge no. I've only done a little online shopping on it and have no real need for that type of software. I have already cleared my cache, cookies, history, and tried webOS Doctor. None of this is helping. =\

OK, so it's not anything from Preware. And you have used webOS Doctor? Wow, that should have cleaned up the problem for sure. It must be something else. This friend of yours, does he use the same Internet provider as you do?

He does yes. And I've used Doctor already...it has not been my first time. This happened a while ago and when I used webOS Doctor then the problem seemed to clear up after that. I use it on a regular basis but it is far from abused. I shut it off every day usualy when I'm at work.
To be honest I'd rather wash my hands of this but who wants a broken, discontinued tablet? I'm thinking about just wiping out everything. If it works I'll be happy enough with it.

I'm not convinced it's the tablet. Sure, it could be. But it may not be. Would you be willing to update the DNS values in your router to the IP addresses from OpenDNS.org? I think you're experiencing a timeout issue. It might be related to DNS, it might not. Is your wireless network G-only or is it Mixed G/N? Or N-only? Please tell me as much as you know about your wireless network.

I appreciate your help. My router is likely G only. It was discontinued in 2004 and has one antenna. Now mind you I had 0 problems for atleast two months after purchasing my Touchpad. Since the man of the house is still angry from my last internet accident, I need to know if this process has any chance of stopping internet to all devices on my network before proceeding.
Better said: What is OpenDNS.org?

Have you rebooted the router and cable/DSL modem? That might clear it up.
Yes, I am sure your router is G only if it was discontinued in 2004. That should be fine. Changing DNS parameters will not block Internet access whatsoever, as long as you typed in the DNS addresses correctly. Though the router may require a reboot after entering the DNS addresses.
OpenDNS.org is a free, reliable DNS provider. I recommend it to anyone I meet. It's going to be faster than the DNS provided by Comcast, Charter, AT&T, or whoever is your Internet provider. My previous company was an ISP and we used OpenDNS as the DNS provider ofr our customers rather than running our own DNS service. Once you change your DNS over to OpenDNS you'll actually see web pages load up faster. It's really amazing.
