Am liking the 3.0.4 update, and the new Camera/Video app is bonzer!
Only have one beef, and that's more with the Photos and Videos app itself.
The new HP Camera app puts shots taken into a folder called Photo roll. No idea where this critter's cave is, err its folder as cannot find it in USB Drive mode.
Have had to make a new folder, called it 2 - HP PhotoRoll which mysteriously put it up top, easier to access once I find the Photo roll folder in the mess of photos and folders on my TouchPad.
Problem with the Photos and Videos, least on my TouchPad, is that it is proliferated with music album art.
The only way I found to stop the album art from massing is to put a "." in front of the folders, but that in turn has a rather bad effect in that the Music app will not be able to find the music stored there.
Also near the end of the Photos and Videos are numerous images folders that proliferate there as well. Quite annoying, even in exhibition mode... !
One way to circumvent a lot of these issues is to either have the program automatically block music album art & images, or create a library just for those whilst freeing the TouchPad Owner from having a messy photo viewer.
Also wished there was a way to add New Library and customize as to which folders will appear there.
- Photos & Videos should be able to be organized by Name, Folder Name, Category, Date Taken, & favorites, etc.
- Adding a Favorites & a Search function could be highly useful here.
- Page Down, Page Up, Home, and End links on the bottom menu slider could be useful.
- Favorites, where the TouchPad Owner can specify what folders will appear in their Customized Library.
- Preferences as to what the TouchPad Owner wants to show on their viewer, past that of Accounts.
Just a few ideas for enhancements to a fabulous application. Not sure how Photos and Videos sorts folders, yet currently is is a mess for the lack of organization. Hopefully y'all will get something in there to remedy this and make the application more user friendly.
