My son gifted one Hp Touchpad Webos to me & another to his Mother (my wife) while third one to my causin sister at canton during our visit to US. It was working well in USA & even after in returning to Kuwait. In first week of January, when we connected to power supply for charging, suddenly it shows only flickering and no display.
It is never fallen or drop any liquid material on it. Similar problem is with the unit which is with my causin sister.
I have tried to find out the service center in Kuwait which I have located on around 12th February (As I was in India from 9th jan to 1st Feb, due to Sad demise of my Mother). They contacted Hp concerned department and inform me that it can not be replaced from Kuwait but it can be taken care by my son who is in USA.
Need your guidance & help.

Unfortunately, I believe the information you were given is correct. Hardware which is purchased in the U.S. is covered by HP's U.S. warranty, and will need to be sent there for service.
