Re: Problematic websites after the 3.04 update.

I HAVE TWO:

HTTPS://MAIL.GOOGLE.COM won't scroll, so I can only see part of each page of mail. Since the mail program on the TP can't show me old email, I must use gmail in the browser. IT DOESN'T WORK RIGHT.

WWW.FUELLY.COM won't display most graphics. Their Support told me they use SVG (from www.highcharts.com) a lot, and they can't make a major mod to change it for such a small group of users. I had seen an article (www.sencha.com) that says the TouchPad doesn't support SVG, so I told Fuelly's support. This site is terrific for full browsers, mobile, and texting, to keep track of MPG and maintenance of multiple vehicles. It's free.

Otherwise I like my TP.

This site takes the log in and password, but always comes back to log in screen.  You can log into PC with same user name or email and password, but not tablet running latest version of webos, 3.04.

thanks for looking into it.

www.justin.tv

some links work but others give an error message that states that the operating system does not support imbedded players, which apparently it did before the last update.

Re: Problematic websites after the 3.04 update.

I have 3.05 and it the issue was even present before when it was on 3.02 & 3.04.

www.cbtnuggets.com, when you go to the signin, the link for signon doesn't do anything, I tap on it and it's as if nothing is being registered, no page loads or anything.

Re: http://huffingtonpost.com

I have identified a reason that the TP has problems accessing some web sites. The TP is using the internet protocol recovery properties to maintain connections. That is to recover from lost packets and delays. This should be a rare event. With 3.0.2 approx 5% of packets are lost. With 3.0.5 this rises to 30%! I have reverted to 3.0.2 to enable the TP to work. I have alerted HP and suggested they do a simple ping test to demonstrate the fault. So it will be interesting to see if they respond.

Huffington Post videos will play, depending from where they are linked from.

I just played one that was linked to abcnews.com, but it failed playing one that was linked to Hulu.com (due to Hulu blocking access to webOS devices).
