Touchpad Bluetooth call with Palm Pre - bad echo

when I call using my touchpad paired with my palm pre using Bluetooth people complain of a really bad echo on their end. Sounds good to me though. Any fixes to this - should I return my touchpad or is this a software issue?

Have just tried call from touchpad via Pre2, same result. Recipient reports bad echo. Anything further on this. Also wondering when Pre2 will be updated to link texting?

I was just checking in to see if anyone knows about Pre2 and TouchPad texting...TouchPad doesn't seem to recognize that the Pre2 is connected, although the bluetooth says it is...

Re: Touchpad Bluetooth call with Palm Pre - bad echo

I also am experiencing the same bad echo while using my HP Touchpad connected to my Motorola Atrix phone.

It sounds like The HP Touchpad is unable to mute the microphone while the caller is speaking, so therefore either the sound of the caller leaving the speakers is picked up by the microphone and is sent back to the caller at full volume delayed a half second or so, or the "ducking" circuit that senses the caller audio and subsequently mutes the send audio path doesn't work properly. The "trans hybrid" loss that normally exists in a standard telephone is replaced by a "ducking" or switching circuit in a speaker phone. It just doesn't work in this device.

It actually depends on the device you use.I use it in my samsung nexus phone and it works fine. But there is a little noise.
