I just received my TouchPad and was hoping that Netflix and some of my facebook games would work on it, is there an update or program that is available to make that happen. I want to be able to take the tablet with me so that I can use it when I get free time to myself during my work day (lunch). Thanks in advance for all the help.
Post relates to: HP TouchPad (WiFi)

Netflix is definitely not available on the TouchPad. I don't know about the Facebook games since I don't use Facebook.

Just to add to speedtouch's post: Netflix uses Micorsoft Silverlight, not Flash. Silverlight is not supported on the TouchPad. the only way Netflix would work on TouchPad is if they built an app.

Some facebook games work, while others don't. Can't get Words With Friends to play (get error message that says to use IE, Opera, Chrome, or Safari to play). Some casino games onfacebook work, albeit rather slow.

Has anyone found an update to this issue?
Would a dual-boot with Android help? Although I'm nervous about doing that.

Netflix is still not on the TouchPad. I doubt it will ever come to the TP, to be honest.

Thanks. What about using a dual-boot with Android?
Also, any suggestions for Hulu? It doesn't work on my TP.

I have no idea about Android for the TouchPad, that's beyond the scope of this forum. XDA is where you should go for that: http://www.xda-developers.com/
Hulu used to work, but I think they locked down their service to only allow PC web browsers access. Mobile browsers are prohibited as far as I know.
