Please verify for me these are known issues... Both sites work well on my Pre Plus 1.45.1 webOS, but fail on my TouchPad, regardless of internet provider. - drudgereport.com goes into a loop, constantly reloading itself - login.live.com tries to login multiple times and then goes to a page suggesting I open a hotmail account.... I have two hotmail accounts working great under the email app! note: want to use live.com since mail app does not support html formatted email. Also would want to try skydrive and web office features of live.com (see explore.live.com for details.) Complains the browser is incompatible but lists all common browsers as sufficient! Where's that OTA update we've been promised... Been working around these bugs for a week now.

Drudge seems to have fixed a bug in his site and drudgereport.com is working correctly. But login.live.com still fails... I need someone with a single hotmail account to give this a try. I have 3 hotmail/msn accounts under my settings|accounts. Works fine with mail app, BUT the bug with login.live.com may be due to webOS attempting to login with all three accounts, aborting the login handshakes, causing my problem. Please report if login.live.com works for you.

I just tried login.live.com and was able to successfully login, but I can only view my account settings. When I try to access Hotmail or Messenger, I get a message about the "website might be down" etc. We should definitely add this to the list that WyreNut has started.

Thanks for trying.... I duplicated the same result (note the address field in browser when we try to go to hotmail... retry count increments and finally results in 'site may be down' page you describe.) Verify you do not have a passport account (hotmail, msn, etc) in your SETTINGS|ACCOUNTS SETUP. (Wondering if webos synergy is jumping in and messing up handshake, attempting to use one/all passport accounts in the list. If you have no such accounts listed, then the problem is likely in the browser, and we all should be seeing this bug.)

Yep, I have NOT added my Live Account to Synergy at all. Was doing just a straight web login.

Oops... I've got to take that back ... drudgereport.com is looping again. It seems the problem comes and goes.... Possibly with which ad is in the sequence. Crazy such a primitive website... deliberately so for speed/focus... would be a problem.

same issues here too with refresh/looping 2 drudge. I called support/chat for support. He has me reset apps,data although I mentioned no apps install before issue discovered. My touchpad also reset on its own but intermittent. Looking for an ota soon.! Annoying problems

you have to turn off javascript in preferences to keep drudge from refreshing constantly. Means you have to toggle on or off for other sites! Kind of a pain!

Sorry.... Does not fix the problem I am reporting.

It is true that drudgereport.com reloads itself (I guess via Javascript) every 3 minutes or so.  That is not the loop I am reporting.

About 80% of the times I give it a try, the page restarts before rendering is 20% complete.  Sometimes it just blinks with the progress bar starting over and over again almost instantly.

When the page does render... It does so readily and repeatedly upon request making me think the problem is fixed.  But then thing go wrong again.

I suspect it has more to do with the rendering of the ads.  Note: this site is unique in having the first thing on the page being an ad offered up from some ads server.  I think when the page renders correctly, it is because of attributes of the particular ad in the sequence at the time.

Thoughts on how to identify and block the ads server to diagnose?  On Windows or Linux I could get a log identifying the server called and then block that site in the firewall.

How would this be done in webOS?
