Wondering if you could suggest a good in-car charger that would work with the HP TouchPad? I tried the experts at Support but they keep pushing me to the "Touchstone" (brick or stand) - I want neither. For home the wall charger is just fine.
Thanks

I think HP sells them at their site, also Amazon, eBay, the usual suspects. You'll not find any HP TouchPad stuff in brick & mortar retail stores though.

anyone know if HP plans to release replacement batteries if they have any left over, while the replacement process is annoying, i am sure many users will like to be able to change their batteries later on when they no longer want to hold a charge.
and hopefully they continue to develop the webos just like how android is developed.
Since getting the touchpad, I find my self not being able to tolerate android as well, (the UI just feels clunky compared to webos (even when I use ICS )

Since it's an integrated battery and the Touchpad was not made to be opened up to replace the battery, I doubt we'll ever see replacement batteries for it. But who knows, maybe some company will make batteries for it.
WebOS is definitely, absolutely being updated by HP and the new Open webOS group. Count on it.
Yep, Android is extremely clunky compared to webOS. No other mobile OS can come close to the ease of webOS. I know, because I have used iOS, Android (I have an HTC EVO 3D), and Windows Phone (I have an HTC HD7). None of them are as fluid and simple as webOS. Also, none of the other mobile OSes allow you to install homebrew apps and customizations unless you go through a very painful "jainbreaking" process. There is no jailbreaking process in webOS. Just enter in webos20090606 into the Just Type bar and off you go.
I truly miss having a webOS phone.
