No so fast. I have the same issue and I tried with no wifi security. Still doesn't create a second account or sign in with the original one.
I have WebOS 3.0.5 and the first time I managed to skip the login process. My touchpad account was Dr. Skipped Login or something like that.
I went to my account and deleted all devices I had installed for other people. Having to sign in as a HP customer to use a device is annoying and unnecessary.
