I've just upgraded from my HP Veer to an HP Pre3. Both devices were bought in Germany and activated using the same SIM card by o2 Germany and the same Palm/HP Profile.
On the Veer, I had access to what appeared to be the German App Catalog. On the Pre3, all the prices for the paid apps are now listed in Dollar instead of Euro and I can't find apps like "DB Navigator" or "Bahnfahren".
While telephone number, phone model and IMEI in my Palm/HP Profile correspond to the Pre3 and SIM card in use, the device name is " Stanley's HP Touchpad", which is apparently wrong.
Is there any way to gain access to the German App Catalog on the Pre3?
BTW: On a second Pre3, which is used as an upgrade from a Palm Pixi Plus, with a different Palm Profile and another o2 Germany SIM card, the upgrade went just fine and that Pre3 has access to the German App Catalog. The device name of that Pre3 is empty when viewing the Palm Profile online.
