Need to Sync contacts from old Treo 755p to new Treo 755p

I transferred my contacts from my old Palm Treo 755p to Palm desktop on a windows XP computer. I now need to transfer them to my new Treo 755p. I tried hotsync but it creates a new backup for my new treo 755p. How can I sync the contacts from my Palm desktop (old treo 755p) to my new treo 755p.

Hard Reset the new Treo so it's completely erased. Perform a HotSync, and when Palm Desktop asks you to "Create a New Account, or use an Existing One?" choose "Existing" and pick the HotSync name of your old data.
