Just opened the backup of my PALM on the PC and all the calender appointments have 'disappeared' - everything else is there, e.g. contacts, but no appointments at all. This is the 2nd time the data has 'disappeared' - I did a hotsync last time from my PALM which worked but there is obviously a fault.
My Tungsten E2 is three years old - I use it for work and have never had any problems before
Can anyone help?

What version of Palm Desktop are you using?
The version Access of Japan came up with (6.2.2) is known to have problems when you turn off your computer while the program is still active.
Always be sure to close Palm Desktop before turning off any computer!

I'm using 6.2.2 as well and, yes, I have sometimes shut down computer without closing Palm software. I'll make sure I do in future. Many thanks for your help.

I just hot synced my palm and it deleted all of my data from my desk top calendar. Said that my computer may be full or that I may have reached the maximum allowed records on the desktop. To correct this situation, delete some records and perform again. If there are no calendar entries what am I supposed to delete and if it can't hold all of my information why did I buy this device?
