I've just been given a new iPod Touch and would like to transfer all my contacts on my Palm Treo to my iPod Touch.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Hello hamokhamok and welcome to the Palm forums.
You don't say what computer platform you are on. If you are using Windows and Office, I would recommend that you configure your Palm to sync with Outlook and load your PIM data into Outlook if you don't already do so. Then in iTunes, you can configure your iPod to sync your PIM data from Outlook.
If you are on a Mac OS Xcomputer, you will need to configure your Treo to sync with Apple's iCal and Address Book applications by using iSync. Once your Treo's data in in iCal and Address Book, you can configure iTunes to load your PIM data from the Apple applications.

Thanks for your reply.
I use XP Home with MS Office2007.
I don't use Outlook but if its going to help me with my problem then I will try that path and see where it brings me.
Regards and a Happy 2009

Since you are using Windows and Office, Outlook is your only option.

Can you give directions to do the following:
"If you are on a Mac OS Xcomputer, you will need to configure your Treo to sync with Apple's iCal and Address Book applications by using iSync. Once your Treo's data in in iCal and Address Book, you can configure iTunes to load your PIM data from the Apple applications."
I have a MacBook Pro Snow Leopard and an iPod Touch and want to get my Palm Desktop to interface together.
Thanks

In order to connect your Palm to Mac, you´llneed to install PalmDesktop software. Doing so your Palm Data will sincronize with AddressBook and iCal in MacOS X. Then, you sincronize your iPod and be happy.
