Starting today, my Palm Centro wouldn't charge... I've had the phone for approximately 2 months now.
My phone's battery power is really low. I've already tried the soft reset and that didn't do anything. I've also checked the plug, so I can rule that possible problem out. Help!

Have you tried removing the battery and leaving it out for about a minute?
Otherwise you might want to swap out the battery.

Turn off the cell radio and connect the Centro to your PC, it will charge that way SLOWLY.
Then try replacing the charger.

If only that was the case...
There have been no power surges or anything whatsoever, and I have no pets. The poor thing's completely drained of battery and there's no way to recharge it.
Can I connect it to a computer to charge without installing the disc?

My Centro is doing the same thing. I got it the first week of July, and mid-September the red light that's on when it's charging was flashing. I noticed that the green "charged" light never came on, and the battery was running down faster than before. Then, the phone wouldn't recognize the electrical charger AT ALL, but would charge (slowly) on the Hot Sync cable.
I called Sprint, they had me come in for repair. Three repair visits later, Sprint deduced that the problem was the CHARGER TIP had become too loose for the socket in the Centro.
I explained that ALL of my chargers--the Sprint one I got with the phone, which I use at home, a Palm brand charger I use at the office and my Palm-branded car chargers--were having the same problem. They were bought at diffferent times and places, and yet all three had the same problem SIMULTANEOUSLY?
Sprint replaced my Sprint charger on Monday (9/30), assuring me this would solve my problem. I got home with a brand-new charger--and had the SAME problem.
It seems the socket on the phone is loose--it can't "hold" the plug in place to charge.
This seems ridiculous after only three months. Is Palm replacing these defective PDAs?
