Tungsten E2 Question

Tungsten E2 device with Palm Desktop on Win XP Pro SP3 machine, Dell OEM.

Looking for tips to purge data from certain amount of years, as I have acquired a new device as of today since my original unit is on it's last legs.

What I am looking to do is, purge data for a given time period as I am no longer in need of that information  from desktop O/S before HotSynching to new device.

If wrong area, please move.

Thanks,

Re: Tungsten E2 Question

Please lock thread as I have found a solution which does not work for me.

The purge data via the PDA (or) desktop UI does not offer sufficient options to purge data.

I hope Palm aka HP has implemented better data protection, etc in later model PDA's.

Re: Tungsten E2 Question

Just an FYI - Palm PDA's are extinct.  They ended over a year ago...

The Search Function is your Best Friend! Reading the Manual can be Very Enlightening!

I am aware of this, I was simply asking to get my old device (now extinct) functioning well. Ummm... are PDA's still supported here ?

Thanks.

Re: Tungsten E2 Question

I have to say that I love my extinct E2 also.  I am not a big fan of the do everything smart phone and have not found anything comparable on the market today.  Except for the USB connection on the unit (now using the most frustrating Bluetooth) this  thing has really worked well.  Wish Palm had never taken it off the market.....if it is so useless then why are people willing to pay up to twice the list price on ebay for one?
