When I press the home button on my palm E2 it displaces the appointment calendar.  Any ideas

Sorry, "displaces"?  Not sure what you are asking.

 

Are you saying you press Home and the Calendar app opens?  Home should take you to the Launcher screen.  If this is not happening, go to the Prefs app, then Buttons. 

 

Each button is programmable through this setting.
