I have been a long time Palm TX user and want to continue to use it until I absolutely have to go to something else. Therefore I've bought another Palm TX (used of course but works perfectly) and plan to store it until the one I have is unusable for some reason.
I'd like some advice on how to care for the one in "storage". How often should I charge it up and run it through some "exercises(?)"? Or should I? Any other words of wisdom?

I keep my extra TX mostly charged, on my desk where I will see it and plug it in occasionally to top it off.
I don't profess to be a battery expert, but FWIW there is a thread on this subject on the discussion boards at www.brighthand.com. I seem to remember seeing something that gave some technical reason for keeping the battery at around 40% charged. As with most information from the Internet, take it for what you paid for it.
I hop your TXes serve you well for many years.

I will give that a try since it does seem to be the most sensible method. I may even sync it sometimes to exercise the battery some too.
Thanks for your information.
