Windows 7 + USB Modem

I know for a fact that you can use Windows XP to have your Palm Treo Pro as a USB modem.  However, I am also working with a Windows 7 computer that I want to have the phone active as a modem.  However, so far, there is no option to do so.  Do I have to install ActiveSync or is there another program I can use to have it work?

You will need Windows Mobile device Center(WMDC), located here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/downloads/microsoft/device-center-download.mspx

 

As far as the setup a DUN(dial up networking) connection on Windows 7, we are unsure how it would work. You can try these steps and see if they work for you or not.

Palm as not done any testing with Windows 7 to know if this will work or not.
