I use MobileEmail on my Centro to get my Gmail (none of the other programs seemed to work at all). My problem is that it deletes messages off the server when I delete them off my phone - which I was told it wasn't going to do.
As it is now, if I delete a message from my phone, it deletes the message from my gmail entirely. So if I want to keep a message, it has to stay on my phone as well. As I understand the syncing, it's not supposed to work that way, and I'm supposed to be able to delete all the mail from my phone w/o it affecting my gmail on the server.
I have Palm Desktop 6.2. In my Gmail settings, I have POP and IMAP enabled. Gmail is set to keep a copy of messages when the inbox is accessed. Of course, I want it to keep copies when MobileEmail deletes messages too! So, if there's a way to do that, please let me know. Thanks!
