I have a Tungsten E2 and trying install the software on my new Dell computer. I have installed the original CD but the 6.2 version can't complete its download because Windows insists that I'm not online. But I am! I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything at least four times but it fails every time, so HotSync is impossible.
Any suggestions?

Does the version that is on the CD install ok? If it does, I would suggest you use that version and not upgrade to 6.2. 6.2 has some issues with losing data. You can search the forums for postings on that issue. If the CD version installs, try a hotsync.
One caveat here is that if your PC has Win7 64 bit, there are no drivers for that version on the CD or in any Palm Desktop Software. There is a company that has produced drivers for 64 bit versions and it is called Acceca. Here is the link to the page in the forums for the drivers link. http://forums.hpwebos.com/t5/Windows-HotSync/64-Bi
