Is there anyway I can get my Lifedrive to work with Vista 32bit??
I have never being able to make it work. When I install the software that came with my disc, it screws up with my computer, so since the day I got it, I have only been able to use it as a removable disk, or sending/receiving files via bluetooth.
I have looked everywhere & I can`t find any updates, any new downloads, nothing that deals with this issue.
Has palm left us, lifedrive owners totally alone??? Or am I missing something???
Thanks in advance!![]()

Did you read the thread directed to you?
32bit Vista should work easily with your Lifedrive and 6.2.2. If you run into problems with contact and calendar data not transferring, install PalmHotSyncSetup as described in the thread.

All the way back on January 20, 2008 I tested the LifeDrive with Windows Vista and Palm Desktop 6.2.2. You can read my notes here. The only thing that I would add now, some two and a half years later is that Pimlico's PalmHotSyncSetup (free) allows you to HotSync Palm OS devices running Palm OS earlier than 5.2.1 and that do not have the enhanced Palm PIMs installed.

Thanks Alan!!
Just wanted to make sure that somebody tried it before with lifedrive, as I`ve been meaning to install Palm Desktop 6.2.2. for a while, but on the specs it doesn`t mention Lifedrive at all, & I didn`t want it to screw up my computer again.
I will go for it, then.
Thanks so much for clarifying that!! ![]()

All installed & synchronized. Everything seems to be working fine.
Thanks so much for your help, Alan & WyreNut!!![]()

That's good news! ![]()
Would you mind sharing your solution? Did you have to install PalmHotsyncSetup in addition to 6.2.2, or just Palm Desktop?

I installed both of them: PalmHotsyncSetup & palm desktop 6.2.2, & that seemed to do the trick.
I had to hotsync twice, as the first time it hotsync with errors, but the second time it did it with no problems.
And so far, so good!!
