When I create events on my Pre 2 in the google calendar, after a few days,
they start to multiply. Seems to be only happening when the event is created on the pre, not on the google calendar website.

While the number of duplicates is not constant, the bug seems to appear every time I create an event (currently I have 5 such events in my calendar)...

The issue is also seen by developer forum users TechShack, palmtomcat and Robert_Muetzner.

Same problem, already upgraded to 2.1. Still not solved. It is a disaster. After taht the events have multiplied, it seens after a while it jus stops syncing with Google. Never had this problem with webOS1.x, there it all worked out fine.

The duplication keeps going on, by the way.

Feb 7th had 37 entries when I posted this bug one week ago. If I look at the same date today,

I already have 74 entries!

I also have an Exchange synchronisation in addition to the google account, in case that's relevant...

I only add new events with the Google calendar until this is fixed.

I have this problem as well, but with Google Contacts. I'll add a contact to my Pre 2 and it won't show up in Gmail for days...but then suddenly I have many, many copies of the same contact. I just found one a moment ago that had duplicated 119 times. This is a MAJOR bug!

Having the same issue with calendar events multiplying. I'm still using companionlink from when I had my Pre on sprint, wonder if it's related to that? I tried turning off backup on my phone and purging and reloading all my google data but that didn't seem to help. My google calendar, which syncs with my outlook calendar on my desktop, appears to have no duplicates. I'm also getting this annoying problem with repeating calendar events changing times once they sync back and forth between outlook, google and my phone. Often the events will slip an hour earlier, and this happens more than once (I have a number of appointments which should be 9am eastern and are now listed as 5am eastern). Very annoying.
