Hi, I have a Verizon Palm Pre 2 (webOS 2.0.1) that I use at work. I'm trying to sync my calendar/email/contact thru an Exchange server to our Zimbra mail service. When I create account and attempt to sync, I get no error messages, but in email, only the folder structure of my email account shows up (Inbox and subfolders); no email messages are pulled to the Pre 2. I can send emails using the Pre, and those message are received and they show up in my Sent box on the desktop.
Similarly, my calendar in the Pre 2 is blank, but I can create and delete appointments on the handheld and they show up (and disappear, when deleted) on the desktop.
Contacts don't seem to sync well either direction.
I've worked with our IT folks and everything is configured correctly. Any ideas what the problem might be? I have some hope that WebOS 2.1 might help, but Verizon is dragging its feet releasing 2.1, and I haven't seen anything that indicates it will be any better.
This is particularly frustrating because I previously had a Palm Pre Plus (also Verizon; can't remember which WebOS version it had) and it synced flawlessly. It got rid of it because of the atrocious keyboard and it's missing/repeating characters. I'm a long time Palm user, but this is getting ridiculous; either the hardware is flawed (the Pre Plus) or the software is buggy (Pre 2). I love the responsiveness and look of WebOS, but I can't get buy with a smartphone that won't sync with my Exchange server based system.
Help!
