Interesting - we use Intermedia too. I agree it's ultimately a Palm issue since they claim to support 2003. I believe though it is also tied to 2003 since most other users seem to be fine with 1.3.5.1 (see also the discussion on precentral.net). There are a bunch of other clients (such as Apple Mail) that don't support Exchange 2003 because of issues with that server.
We are transitioning to 2010 (still with Intermedia) within the next two weeks. Fingers crossed....

that's great. i've removed account and restarted a dozen times and still doesn't work. i even erased everything on the phone and reinitialized and no success. when you say "reboot" you do mean restart, correct?

I lost calendar during the 2010 glitch, then got it back with the manual fix, and it stayed fine after the maintenance update. But yesterday I replaced my phone (because of an unrelated problem). Now I've only got one--way sync. Exchange to Pre works, but Pre to Exchange doesn't. I tried deleting and reinstalling the account, and problem remains. Contacts sync seems to be working in both directions, and mail is fine.
I had calendar problems when I first got my Pre last June, and they eventually fixed themselves. I'm hoping this one will too.
