I am on my 3rd Palm Prē as of today.
The first one's keyboard stopped working, good thing I installed the OSK right before that.
The second one had a blown speaker (I always use my blueant headset) along with a number of dead pixels.
Anyway
I picked up my new device, signed it in and appeared to be ok. Left the store and went to work.
I went to E-Mail a friend and clicked their name off my contact list. It flashed up to thier profile (which was completely blank) then went back to the main list. I can add new contacts and such. I even added the contact for the Sprint Customer Support number and linked it to the ghost profile and it worked, but it showed nothing from the ghost account.
I'm at work at work at the moment and will be contacting palm tomorrow to see what is going on here.
I have just past the first month in my new Palm/Sprint contract, and hope I start to have better experiences with them from here on out.

If I understand what your posting is that you signed into your Palm profile but found no data? Is this correct? Can you also check something for me. Go into contacts, then tap on contacts in the top left corner. Select Preferences and Accounts. Under here can you list all the accounts you have?

Yep, I have:
Palm Profile
Yahoo!
and the Palm profile is set to default.
I actually got this issue resolved, by working my way through teir 2 or 3 support, I forget which. They had me erase the phone and try again. I re-signed in once it came back up. I assume it was the poor signal in the sprint store. The mall in general has dead spots as it is, everywhere outside is fine though.
I posted this to see if any others have had similar issues. I work in tech support myself, and I know very well that if there's no one stating there's a problem, no one knows there's a problem.

I understand completely. I been working for Palm for 4 years now. With the Pre coming out back in June 09' this is the first I am seeing of this issue. I'm thinking the same as you. The low signal in the area is what most likely causing this issue.

Yeah I just started with Palm/Sprint/Synergy last month. It's all new to me and that even seemed weird to me. I would like a web interface to easily manage my contacts a lot better than any of the other 3rd party software I've used.
