In the Contacts section you can add someone's birthday. When you go to Google calendar you can select if you want the birthdays you entered in Google contacts to show up in a separate calendar. This is great except for the fact that if you enter a birthday in your Pre's contact section, it does not sync to the Google contacts and therefore doesn't show up on your Google birthday calendar on the Pre.
when Google comes out with new features to gmail or Google calendar, Palm also needs to make those changes so that synergy flows on both ends. I know Google and Palm are working together I just get kind of frustrated when things like this don't flow.

Any update when birthdays will be included in the sync with Google Calendar?
I really, really miss the option on the Palm OS to display and birthdays and set alarms. If the data would at least sync with Google, then I could view/manage upcoming birthdays there.

seems like this has been an issue for quite a while but has anything been done? I don't understand why the pre contact and the google contact don't sync birthdays. I finally figured out how to add the birthday calendar but that only works if I enter them on google. Palm needs to figure out how to get them to sync!
