I recently had my palm pre die on me. I had had enough of palm. I have the first gen Palm Pre with 1.4.5 WebOS. The thing would always go haywire randomly "touching" itself, typing J constantly, bringing the menu up and down rapidly... I had to hard restart often. On top of that the battery dies WAY to quick. I.E. I could get 5 hours standby time or 1 hour talk time before having to recharge...
But I digress. I moved my device to an Evo 4G. I still have my Pre, but it wont start with or without a new battery and wont start with it plugged into a power source. Is there any way the hard drive can be removed and put onto a PC for CSV exporting? I attempted emulating the phone with the SDK, but it wont sign into my Profile. Even the Sprint guys said I am S.O.L. Please, if anyone has any idea how to get the contacts off this CDMA phone... PLEASE let me know. There is the most beautiful woman I have been seeing lately who I just may want to spend the rest of my life with. Can't do that if I can't call her.
