Re: Palm Pre/Google Calendar/Daylight Savings Time Issues

Turn off time ZONE not network time on your phone and manually choose a city for your time zone. This is a quick fix until palm sends out a patch for the DST problem.

I wish it were that easy but that doesn't correct my issues.

Re: Palm Pre/Google Calendar/Daylight Savings Time Issues

It is a year later and I am still noticing these problems! All recurring events are an hour early after Mar 13!

My wife scheduled an important doctors appointment on the 14th based on my schedule in the phone that was wrong (we share/sync calendars between our phones)! Now we either have to cancel our doctors appointment.

Uggh this is soo aggrivating!! My Treo never had these problems! This seems like such a simple task, why hasn't Palm/HP fixed this yet??? I don't want to have to jump through hoops in order for this simple thing to work, I am paying a lot of money for this phone to work correctly, it is frustrating that it can't get this simple thing right!

ARE YOU HEARING US PALM/HP????????????????

Re: Palm Pre/Google Calendar/Daylight Savings Time Issues

Level 3 tech support finally admitted they didn't know how to fix the problem. So, I had to manually update all my calendar items. Since that time, HP bought Palm and I'm hoping HP will do some upgrades. We've had zero software updates since last summer. My contract expires in June and I am not looking forward to learning a new phone and system.

But, I've had no more issues and the last change from DST didn't affect anything. Guess I'll wait and see if it happens again in March.
