My touchpad and pre3 will not synch through my webos account. my touchpad claims I have 1 contact on the account, my phone 6. I cant even synch the touch pad through sending the contacts via bluetooth, they just don't arrive. As for apps, they never synch to both devices. Both devices show up on my account. Is there a HP contact number for someone that can make it work? The only reason I bought an obsolete phone was for this very feature! They synch with 3rd party stuff like yahoo, facebook, etc.

Some apps will not arrive on the Pre3 since many were written before the phone existed. From what I've read, Devs have to designate their application as compatible with each webOS device for the app to populate when a restore is performed. It takes a small addition of code (?) to make this happen. The Pre3 also has a differently sized screen which could make an app incompatible.
Many apps I had on my Pre2 profile did not make it to my Pre3 either... :-( I really miss "NDrive" on my Pre3, but have heard rumors they are working on a version that will be compatible!
You could try calling the webOS Butler service for clarification. Click the "Support" link at the top of the page to navigate to this information.
