Synergy (webOS)

Is Twitter going to be integrated with Synergy? - If I understand Synergy correctly, then this should bring push support for Twitter?

If not, is it or will it be possible for apps to include push notifications? Because I am fed up with apps checking (or me, manually) every 5, 10, 15 or whatever minutes for new messages. It's an outdated system and should be looked at. I know of one developer (of Phnx) managed to get push to work, but it was too much of a constraint on his server so he had to abandon that.

I was wondering about this and Tumblr. Can anyone just dev for that? Or do the companies need to do that?

There are some rumors going around about Synergy being integrated, but we won't know until the next update comes out. As far as developing plugins for Synergy, anyone can do it. Head over to http://developer.palm.com, download the SDK, read the gettings starting samples, and go for it. You'll probably need to take a look at the Tumblr API as well.
