Hi, i recieved my veer yesterday and i've got a problem. I exported all my contacts from my android phone and imported them to googlemail, works without problems, all contacts are shown correctly. I added my googlemail account on my new veer, when i open contacts it shows only 27 of my 64 contacts. When i go to preferences & contacts -> google account. it shows 64 contacts. Anyone know why "contacts" shows only 27 of 64 and how i can fix that ?! Things i have tryed. Create a new group and put them in, alway the same gets synced. delete all and create a few test contacts, the didn't gets synced. (with android no problem) i created a few with the veer, they gets synced with google. And always when i go to preferences & contacts -> google account. it shows the full contact number.
I also sync my contacts with a Google account. When I recently went to a new Pre3 from a Pre2, some of my contacts, totally unrelated to each other, inexplicably became linked together on the Pre3. For example, the contacts "Yosemite Sam" and "Acme Dynamite Company" would become linked together into one contact, and I had to "unlink" them. No idea how or why, but perhaps go through your contacts one at a time to make sure they did not somehow become linked together.
I delted all contacts in my gmail accound and created 4 with some names and numbers i see only 3 of 4. I created 4 other contacts named a,b,c,d all with telephone number 123, the adrees book is empty, preferences & contacts -> google account shows 4 contacts.
